For couples planning a wedding

Plan the wedding.
Protect the money.

Rutinelle is one private system for the whole job: your budget divided line by line, every vendor and quote compared side by side, every payment and deadline tracked, the timeline in order, and the guest list that drives all of it.

And then the part a spreadsheet can't do — it checks your quotes for the fees they left out, and reads your contracts before your deposit does.

One payment. No subscription. No account, no app — everything runs in your browser and your numbers never leave your device.

The Rutinelle money dashboard showing target budget, allocated, committed, paid, still owed and next payment due, with a bar breaking the target into paid, owed, quoted and uncommitted.

The Money Dashboard — six questions answered in one glance. Real screen, illustrative numbers.

The core system

Five tools for the job
every couple actually has.

Budget. Vendors. Payments. Timeline. Guests. The same five jobs every wedding planner spreadsheet promises — rebuilt as software, and wired together so a number you type once shows up everywhere it matters.

01

Wedding Money Plan

Turn your total into a written allocation: what each category may spend, which three are protected when something has to give, and what's deliberately held back in reserve. Add your date and it tells you the monthly set-aside that funds the plan on time.

Every line shows the national middle as context — clearly labelled as a range, never mixed into your own arithmetic.

The Wedding Money Plan allocation view: protected categories highlighted, each line showing the amount, the share of target and the national reference range.
02

Vendor Organizer

Every vendor you're considering, quoted by or signed with — name, category, contact, status, quote, deposit and notes. Quotes in the same category line up side by side with the lowest marked and the gap spelled out, so the comparison happens on paper instead of in your head.

Each quote carries a chip showing whether it has been fee-checked yet, and each signed vendor whether the contract has been read.

The Vendor Organizer comparing three venue quotes side by side with the lowest marked and the gap between highest and lowest stated.
03

Money Dashboard

The running ledger. What you set, what you've divided, what you're committed to, what you've paid, what's still owed, and what's due next — recalculated the moment anything changes. Refund windows sit in the same list as payments, because a deadline you miss turns a refundable deposit into a spent one.

Categories with no quote show as not priced, never as zero. Blank is not the same as free.

Built for the venue car park, not just the desk.

04

Checklist & Timeline

The full planning sequence across seven phases — but not a wall of 34 tasks. The money-sensitive ones carry a gilt edge, link straight to the tool that does the work, and the three that matter next are lifted to the top. Add your own tasks to any phase.

With a date set, it tells you which phase you're actually in and what's already late.

The Checklist and Timeline showing overall progress, the current phase, and the next three money-sensitive decisions.
05

Guest List & Headcount

Who's invited, who's confirmed, who declined, and the number you'll actually give the caterer. Headcount is the one line of a wedding budget that multiplies, so it warns you the moment the list outgrows your target — and shows what a seat costs at your catering rate, from your own figures.

No invented savings. Just your allocation divided by your headcount, stated plainly.

Everything is connected. The target you set in the Plan appears in the Dashboard. A vendor you mark booked in the Organizer is flagged if it never reached the ledger. A quote you never fee-checked follows you until you do. Nine tools, one product — not nine tabs.

Why it costs more than a spreadsheet

The protection layer.

A template can hold your numbers. It cannot tell you that the quote in your inbox is missing a 22% service charge that will be taxed on top, or that the contract you're about to sign has no cancellation clause. Rutinelle does both, at the moment it matters.

Vendor Quote Fee Checker

Walk any real quote through plain-English questions and get a clean verdict in three groups — covered in writing, not included, and ask before signing — with the exposure calculated against your own numbers. Then it writes the polite, specific message to send that vendor, ready to copy.

31 documented fee patterns across 14 categories, each with its published source and review date.

The Fee Checker results showing exposure grouped into covered, not included, and ask before signing, with exact figures from the couple's own quote.
Contract & Deposit Protection
A ten-clause checklist built from documented cases of couples who lost $500–$7,500 in deposits — cancellation terms, refund windows, overtime rates, force majeure, substitution. Kept per vendor, so you know which contracts you've actually read.
Wedding Money Risk Report
Six questions, about three minutes. A precise map of what's locked, what's still negotiable, and where the documented fee patterns touch your numbers. Free to run before you buy anything.
Questions & Cost-Saving Playbook
The questions working planners recommend asking, category by category, plus the cost-saving swaps that have real published figures behind them — and honest labels on the ones that don't.

What it's up against

A $10 template, or this.

A wedding budget spreadsheet
  • Holds the numbers you type, and only those.
  • Sums a column. Never questions what's in it.
  • Treats an empty cell as zero.
  • Compares two quotes only if you already know they cover the same things.
  • Has no opinion about the contract you're about to sign.
  • Needs a laptop and a spreadsheet app to be useful.
Rutinelle
  • Nine connected tools; type your target once and it follows you through all of them.
  • Flags every quote that has never been fee-checked, and every contract never read.
  • Shows unpriced categories as unknown, because blank is not free.
  • Lines quotes up per category, marks the lowest, states the gap, and asks whether the scope matches.
  • A ten-clause contract checklist drawn from real deposit losses.
  • Opens on a phone, in a venue car park, with the numbers already there.

Not a criticism of spreadsheets — a description of what one is. If a grid of cells is all you need, you don't need this.

Why the numbers can be trusted

Honest numbers,
or no numbers.

75%

of couples ran into unexpected costs while planning — Zola's 2026 Wedding Spend Survey of 720 engaged and newlywed couples.

$3,314

the average in hidden, unplanned wedding costs reported in the same survey.

18–33%

what service charges, admin fees and tax commonly stack on top of a food & beverage quote, per published venue fee documentation.

Your own numbers are calculated exactly. Industry figures are always shown as ranges, with the source named and dated — never fake precision.
If a number can't be defended, it isn't shown. No invented "your wedding will really cost $X" scare math.
Nothing is uploaded. There is no account and no database, so there is nothing to breach.
Built from published planner checklists, venue fee documentation and named surveys — 16 sources, cited in the product at the exact point each number appears.

The Wedding Money Protection Pack

Printables that work away from the screen: the ten-clause contract checklist, the vendor email scripts, the category-by-category question sheets to take on venue tours, and the hidden-fee reference table with every source. Paper for the meetings; the software for everything else. It adds printables — it does not unlock features.

Questions, answered plainly

Is this an app I have to install?

No. It's a set of tools that run in your phone or laptop browser. You get a private link after purchase; bookmark it and you're set.

Where does my financial data go?

Nowhere. The calculators run entirely on your device, and the page has no permission to send anything anywhere. We never see your budget, your quotes or your payments — there's no account and no database.

What happens if I clear my browser data?

Your entries are erased with it, because that's where they live. Every screen has a Save as PDF button for exactly this reason — export a copy now and then, and keep it with your wedding paperwork.

Can we both use it?

Yes — open the link on both devices. Each device keeps its own copy rather than syncing through us, which is the trade-off that keeps your numbers private.

Will this tell me if a vendor's price is fair?

No, and be wary of anything that claims it can — fair pricing depends on your city, season and scope. What this does is show the documented fee patterns a quote may be leaving out, and the exact questions that surface them.

Will it guarantee I save money?

No guaranteed-savings claims — no reliable data exists to back one, and we don't invent numbers. What's documented: 75% of couples hit unplanned costs averaging $3,314, and the best defence is asking the right question before signing. That's what this is built to do.

Is this legal or financial advice?

No. It's organised, sourced industry information plus calculators that work only with numbers you enter. For contract review, a local attorney; for money decisions, a licensed advisor.

Can I get a refund?

Rutinelle is delivered instantly, so all sales are final and we don't refund change of mind — please run the free risk report first to see exactly how it works. If you were charged twice, never received access, or lost your unlock link, email us and we'll fix it straight away at no cost. Full refund policy.
